We have cultivated Cabernet Franc for nearly three decades, and the variety has established itself as one of the signature grapes of our region. With over five acres planted between our two estate vineyards, we have come to love its versatility as both a blender and as a standalone varietal.
The fruit for our Cabernet Franc Reserve was hand-picked in mid-October from the “Dry Bench” sections of our South Mountain Vineyard where low fertility soils produce smaller berries with concentrated flavors. The wine undergoes 17 months of maturation in select French oak barrels.
Aromas of charred wood and molasses, backed by dried fruit flavors of black raspberry and currant. Drink now or cellar through 2035.
